Ingredients


  • amchoor powder 1 tsp
  • chana dal soaked in 2 cups of water for 15 min 225 grams
  • corriander leaves finely chopped 1/4 cup
  • fresh ginger finely chopped 1/2 number
  • garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • ghee 1 tbsp
  • green chillies finely chopped 4 number
  • medium onion finely chopped 1 number
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • water 2 cup
  • wheat flour 4 cup

Preparation


  • boil water in a pan on high heat.addchana dal salt and turmeric. stir.bring to boil.reduce heat. cover and cook till dal is tender but not mushy about 35 min.drain off excess water if any. allow to cool.add all the remaining ingredients.
  • for dough: mix flour salt gheeand water to make a soft dough. kneed till the dough is smooth. keep covered with a damp cloth for 30 min.
  • now make 12 balls.
  • on a floured board roll out each ball of dough fill in the filling. now roll into a paratha. heat the tava into medium flame put the parathas on tava and cook on both sides applying ghee.
  • cook remaining balls in the same way.
  • serve hot accompanished with curd or tomato chutney or aacha.

Recipe Tips


  • use luke warm water for the dough it will help in making the parathassoft.for best results u can use half milk and half water.
